Bio
In 2007 I became a full-time freelance writer and in 2008 I began doing business as Finger Lakes Writer. Since then I’ve tried to expand my business on a regular basis.
My area of my expertise is news and feature stories, including education and farm-to-table pieces, travel and day trip articles, parenting columns, and covering current events. I also enjoy writing theatre reviews and have co-authored a book on college transfer that will be coming out in summer 2017. I blog on a regular basis and you can find me on LInkedIn and Twitter.
I’m a member of Education Writers Association, the Association of Writers and Writing Programs, Writers and Books, and the Cornell Alumni Association.
I frequently take advantage of conferences, workshops, teleseminars, webinars, and writing groups, offered locally and from a distance, to keep my writing skills at a high level of professionalism.
