Bio
As an advocacy organization, FISIL’s overarching plan is to develop platforms for women to enable them to interact and discuss issues affecting their lives.
The executive of various branches will duly observe from the social media interactions that, our work areas need to be approached simultaneously socially viz a viz the policy.
This is to ensure we take onboard those social values as we explore our policy domains.
FISIL strongly believes that our support for women in leadership positions, be it public or private life, could influence the different policies that affect our lives. Women in leadership positions will ensure policies are gender-friendly to address our issues.
• Education (Girl Child Education and Teenage Pregnancy)
With our advocacy platforms, FISIL will deliberate on the girl child education and teenage pregnancy. This is to minimize the harmful practices that revolve around these issues.
• Women and health (GBV and Cancer)
FISIL is operating a zero-tolerance on Gender-Based Violence. All education needed for cancer support and minimize GBV will be re-emphasized through our work.
• Women and entrepreneurs (capacity building pieces of training)
FISIL wants to ensure we have productive women; hence we will be putting in place different trainings that would suit and be beneficial to you all.
• Humanitarian supports
FISIL will embark on humanitarian supports to meet the needs of vulnerable people.
• Join the fight against climate change – Tree Planting/ Agriculture
FISIL will embark on tree planting to help Re-forest some areas in Sierra Leone and Fight Climate Change for a More Sustainable Future.
