Ready to take the journey to fitness/health to a new level? The loss of 100lbs was great...I wouldn't say easy, but it was doable. I'm now finishing up the last 50lbs that have proven to be the hardest. Between illness (Lupus/kidney disease), work (loss of jobs) and just life in general I have struggled to find a way. BUT, I knew I could do it.
At this point in my life I now know that my passion is helping others reach their FULL potential when it comes to health, fitness and wellness. In discovering this passion I took it upon myself to become a Spinning instructor and to create my own online health and wellness business (www.fit2live4life.com) where I have had the honor of helping many people lose weight and get HEALTHY!
Being FIT doesn't always mean being a size 2. And to be honest, most of us (MYSELF INCLUDED) may NEVER look like the models in magazines and movies. HOWEVER, that doesn't mean that you can't strive to be the BEST YOU that you can be. Maybe I will NEVER have washboard abs and 5% bodyfat. But I will NOT give up on myself or stop reaching for my goals. So with that said being fit is really about being the BEST YOU that YOU can be.
Now that I'm on the last leg of my journey I've decided to take a different approach when it comes to my nutrition. I've decided to commit to Weight Watchers and clean eating so that I can become healthy AND fit while showing others that it is all possible to do!
Helping people realize their full potential and right to being healthy and fit is what I was put on this earth to do. So I will keep sharing, giving and inspiring others to lead healthy and active lifestyles.
Having Lupus/Kidney disease takes the importance of being healthy to another level. I talk to many of my fellow Lupus buddies everyday and try to get them to see and understand how proper nutrition and exercise CAN AND WILL help keep Lupus under control. Some days are easier than others but the key is to keep going and NEVER give up the fight with Lupus!
Being FIT goes beyond the physical. It is where you dig deep, admit that YOU DESERVE better for yourself and make changes to live a totally new healthy lifestyle. Sure it has its ups/downs but I'm ready and I welcome you along for the ride!!
So hop on the bus and take this journey with me!! Happy reading!!
