Bio
After working for many years in a large city of 2 million, Larry and Flora decided to pull out that 1970's dream of living in ‘out in the country’ and moved to Bear River, Nova Scotia. When their children grew up it seemed like the right time to spread their wings too and to resume the adventure they had set on the shelf while they raised children and developed their work skills.
They wanted to live a life that was not consumer-driven, that was more meaningful and where they could embrace our creative selves. Flora intends to paint; Larry will create vessels and objects from metal. They will garden in a self-sustaining way and take time to smell the roses. They want more time to connect to each other and to the community.
