Bio
Published designer and stylist, La'Daska Powell jumped into fashion later in life. After obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design and Marketing at the International Academy of Design & Technology-Tampa, She launched her swimwear line, LADASKA MECHELLE, where she gained popularity with empowering women to be confident by wearing swimwear tailored to fit a woman's body shape. She eventually designed swimwear for the Dallas Stars Ice Girls and was featured in the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders calendar, the Examiner, Charleston Magazine, and local publications and blogs.
After moving to New York in 2013, she became a finalist with SINGER21 emerging designer presentation as well as being featured in Ellements Magazine and Seven Tribes Magazine as a designer and wardrobe stylist.
