Bio
In each family there is one who seems called to find the ancestors. Someone is needed to put flesh on their bones and make them live again, to tell the family story. Doing genealogy is breathing life into all who have gone before.
Their bones are bones of my bone and flesh of my flesh. I am proud of what our ancestors were able to accomplish, how they contributed to what we are today, and respect their hardships and losses, their never giving in or giving up, their resoluteness to go on and build a life for their family.
There is also a deep respect for our fathers who fought and died to make and keep us a Nation, and respect for our mothers who were the glue that held it all together, when the men were gone.
There is also utmost respect to our Heavenly Father, who sustained our ancestors, who saw fit to place me in the United States of America and be so blessed. He is the Great Creator of every human being and without him there would not have been a single man on this planet. We can get a sense of what our grandparents looked like by looking at ourselves, and knowing that God is the one common thread among us all.
It is my hopes to share some of the most interesting stories, genealogy finds, stories and pictures with everyone. Perhaps you, too, connect in some way with the people featured in these blogs.
