Welcome to the blog of Fotofilia, a photography studio/gallery/training complex in Birmingham, England.
This blog is dedicated to bringing you news, opinions and reviews from the world of photography in general, and fotofilia in particular. Our intention is to inform, inspire and hopefully provoke debate.
Comments Policy: Unfortunately we have had problems with bogus posts from another business and so check every comment's provenance before authorising it. We welcome considered intelligent debate but will reject any comments we consider offensive.
Fotofilia is an entirely new concept in Birmingham, if not the West Midlands.
Fotofilia is somewhere that photographers can learn about, create, exhibit and view photography - all under one roof.
Fotofilia was set up by professional full-time photographers/photography tutors to provide a facility that, as former photography students themselves, they found lacking in the city.
Fotofilia Gallery is open to the public Tuesdays-Saturdays 10am-3:30pm and is available to hire.
Fotofilia's well-equipped studio is also available for hire when not being used for training or by the staff.
Fotofilia runs regular photography courses and workshops as well as a monthly photography club. Events may be taught by our in-house tutors or guest tutors.
