Bio
Chef Franco Lania is a classically-trained chef who has been cooking and traveling for the last 25 years. He received the esteemed
Grand Diplôme from Le Cordon Bleu, London, and obtained his Master Chef Certification from the Italian Culinary Institute in Costigliole d’Asti, Italy, and has a BA in Hospitality & Tourism Management from Florida International University. Franco has worked for 5-star hotels and Michelin-starred restaurants in New York, London, Milan, Miami, and Los Angeles, as well as on luxury cruise ships. Franco was twice on the winning team for Food Network’s “24-Hour Restaurant Battle,” a contributor on The Huffington Post, and a member of the Culinary Advisory Board for ConAgra Foods. Most recently the chef has partnered with Tavola Tous a boutique travel company that specializes in culinary and cultural adventures in Italy.
