Bio
Sharing your life, loves, passions, pleasures and tragedies are an integral part of the human experience. At first, I started this blog to encourage single, retired women to get out and live their dreams by doing whatever it is they've longed to do but haven't done because of children, partners or work. And, for several years, that was my focus until my daughter committed suicide. Now, my desire is to share whatever "IT" is that bonds our human experience together, helps someone struggling with an issue, asks the elephant-in-the-room kinda question no one else will touch...or brings humor to grief. Now I've written my memoir/non-fiction/paranormal book: from a Friend which will hopefully be out in early 2021. Follow me here for more info and updates!
I want to inspire others through my blog to explore themselves inside and out to find out who you truly are after all the layers of your yesterdays are resolved. I created the philosophy of the "3 L's" of "Live it; Learn from it; Leave it." The first two can take years but the last one is a doozy! Don't let being "alone" stop you. Use it as your advantage to look more closely inward. After all, it's the one person we spend our entire life with and the only one with us at birth and death; all we leave behind of import is love.
Ride along with me and experience the pain and joy of this Baby Boomer's growth as I travel my soul and our great country. Saddle up and let's get started! Yeehaw!
