Bio
Welcome my dear friends to Anne's Attic - design blog. My name is Joanne Boulter you can call me Jo everyone else does. I'm from the great state of UTAH of the USA. I am an Interior Designer, blogger, gardener, a mother of four grown children, and there spouses, and a grandmother of ten and one grand angel Trinady Ann. I adore chippy paint, rusty buckles, vintage photos, lace, and the color blue. I live on the beautiful mountainside in the city of Bountiful over looking the Great Salt Lake.
I have a formula for my decor : 50% French Nordic + 50% Shabby Chic = 100% Romantic Farmhouse. I think that is because of my Swedish, Danish heritage.
Creating for me is essential! It feeds my heart and soul. It is a part of who I am. I use to dress my Barbies as a young girl only to set them back on their shelf so they would stay nice and pretty. My love for time worn and tarnished treasures such as anything antique or vintage soothes my soul.
I grew up on a small horse farm in South Jordan, Utah. I learned to ride a horse before I could make a bed. Even though I haven't been on a horse in years I still love the country. You can take the girl out of the country but you can't take the country out of the girl.
My greatest love is my faith, (besides my family) which has got me through many, many tough times. Please take the time to read my other pages, one is on my experience with Abuse in Home. Someone you know may need some help with this through my experience.
My motto is: "You can shake the sand from her shoes, but not her soul."
My faith does this for me. I have a link on the side bar of my blog about my faith if you are interested take the time to check it out, or send me a email. joanne.boulter@live.com
Thank you so much for visiting my little nest.
