Bio
Kim Mance is a writer and creative based in New York. She's editor of Galavanting and founder of the popular travel writer community and its conferences in North America and Europe (recently acquired by NMX).
Kim has written & blogged for outlets like Condé Nast Traveler, Marie Claire, Huffington Post, Babble, and Solas House Publishing. She's appeared on various news broadcast networks like NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX, and NPR as a lifestyle and travel expert. Forthcoming shows on Travel Channel will include snippets of her saying things -- even pithy things -- now that she's got the hang of it. Once, Harvard University let her publish something, (pdf), in one of its journals. But of course her first TV appearance (on a bad hair day) was as an unwitting panelist on PBS' The McLaughlin Group, which taught her a lot more than you think it would. Magazines like Cosmopolitan, Woman's Day, Parents, and Self have even sought Kim's comments after she learned those various things.
There's even more self-congratulatory stuff about her work at kimmance.com
