Bio

I retired in 2009 and live in Lexington, SC, with my wife and our disabled adult son. I am a Christian, considered fairly conservative according to some Christian groups, but relatively liberal within my own fellowship. Over the years I have become suspicious of extreme viewpoints. I have spent the past 40 years studying the origins and transmission of the Bible. I am especially interested in textual issues.
