Professional Profile
Gary has 25 years experience in training, management development and consultant delivery. He has extensive experience with high impact coaching and consulting as well as customer relationship and stakeholder management. His numerous roles require flexibility and experience to deliver consistently high quality results. Gary as wide experience of delivering high quality programmes to over 25% of the Times top 200 organisations, both nationally and internationally.
Business Experience
Gary’s people management experience includes over 18 years as Centre Manager and Director of Training at a large residential training centre. As Centre manager his role included managing the daily running and staff of the centre, delivering a wide variety of objective based corporate training programmes. The role also included managing up to 8 full time staff members and up to 10 associate staff members.
In 2009 Gary established High Impact Development with an associate team of up to 20 coaches and consultants. Their office is based on Aycliffe Business Park and is supported by an executive PA and business administrator.
Consulting Experience
Through his personal and professional activities, Gary lives to serve people to achieve full potential; both individually and organisationally. He follows two simple rules of business - (1) actively hear what is important for individuals, teams and their organisation; establish real relationships and understanding for their needs and requirements enabling him to serve effectively. (2) Supporting people to answer the important questions.
Gary has growing experience in consulting with senior teams to increasing revenue through sales and marketing, reducing costs and developing clear plans and strategies. This includes enhancing the skills of their employees, to enable people to make the right high-level decisions on both strategic and operational issues.
Coaching Experience
Gary has a personal passion for serving people and teams in their pursuit of high performance and learning and development. He has extensive experience with executive and behavioural coaching (certified), Gary is accredited to use EQ Leadership, EQ-i 2.0 and EQ360 psychometric tools for enhancing emotional intelligence Development. Having personally carried out over 7000 1:1 sessions with feedback he is considered a leader in the field of emotional intelligence combined with behavioural coaching.
