Bio
I'm a retired professor of theatre history at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Widowed and living alone, I plan to devote the rest of my days to writing, reading, and evangelizing Macintosh computers, iPhones, and iPads.
As an academic I published an introductory theatre appreciation textbook that went five editions, an annotated bibliography of American actors and actresses, and a biography of Junius Brutus Booth (the father of John Wilkes and Edwin Booth.)
Also a whole bunch of academic journal articles and convention papers that have long ago sunk beneath the waves.
Right now I'm finishing up a description of what life was like in the thirties and forties on a southern Kansas farm, stressing how eager I was to leave said farm and get to where the action was. It's nearing completion and I plan to get it published, even if I have to do it myself.
I have other targets on my cyber-horizon . . . watch this space.
