Bio
Make it, Snap it, Eat it! That's my motto.
I'm a girl who happily enjoys those quiet moments in her kitchen. I used to talk about the window sill with rays of sunshine which filtered through in the morning. The 'quaint' music in the background & plethora of ingredients which were scattered about on the table when making something delicious.
That was before.
My story begins with my background as a Production designer for Stage & Theatre, which led way to a career in the arts. A hunger for innovation and slowly, the eventual realisation of a missed opportunity.
That missed opportunity was to combine a long distant hobby (cooking,) with the aesthetics & zeal of a designer. Which then gave way to the two and a half years of study. Oh the frantic study & race to become a fully qualified Commercial Cookery Chef!
Which inevitably led to this blog.
I neglected to mention there are two other chefs in my immediate family, besides me. (Yes!) Food is definitely in our blood!
Girl in a Food Frenzy began as a way to document my food frenzy antics over those years. It eventually led to a passion for iphone photography (Instagram addict!) Which then became videography, food tutorials and so much more.
These are my recipe archives, my learnings, my ambitions and interests. It's become about so much more than the food, it's the story too.
Mostly, it's all about you (the reader.) It's about a great place where you visit to feel a lot more cheerful, a little nurtured and maybe hungry too... ;)
