Bio
Captioning Culture is a collection of stories from all areas of life. The Polaroids capture the activity of our daily worlds, which shows us how we are formed by, and live in culture. Polaroids are a more personal choice than using the instant click of an iphone. They are something we can in hold, which in turn holds more of the moment. They considerate snap shots. Using this medium, we can place these small details of our social lives, into the forefront of our imagination.
The author is an Anthropology graduate from UCL who has spent the last two years living and working in countries ranging from Germany, Hungary and Spain, to Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar and most recently, Japan.
