Bio
I have spent most of my life traveling the world in search of the perfect meal. To support my food habit, I have taught school; worked in public relations, marketing, and magazine advertising; authored countless articles (many on food and cooking schools); and published five books (most recently: Gourmet Getaways, 50 Top Spots to Cook and Learn). On my blog site, I will share with you some of the culinary schools and their different programs that I have written or learned about over the years. I will also share with you some of the things that a few great chefs have shared with me during my brief encounters with them.
Although I am not a chef nor am I a noteworthy cook, I do like to fuss in the kitchen. Occasionally I surprise myself (and my dinner guests) by preparing a remarkable meal. Still, cooking is not my great love; eating is. Nevertheless, I believe what I will have to say will be of value to you.
