Recognized for her thought leadership and innovative and practical approach, Alexandra is an esteemed professional in the arenas of change management, change leadership, and leadership development. With over twenty-five years of professional experience,
Alexandra's career has spanned multiple sectors and continents. She has served governments, NGOs, NPOs, start-ups, and private organizations in North America, New Zealand, India, Africa, and Malaysia, showcasing her global perspective and diverse experience.
As a transformative change leadership and change management leader herself, Alexandra has established an impressive track record in various senior roles. Notably, she was the Assistant Vice President of Organizational Development and Change Management at the Canadian Medical Association – MD Financial, where she spearheaded the people change side of a $90 million Business Transformation Program. Her experience also includes executive and senior advisory roles for the Governments of Canada and New Zealand and as a Senior Managing Consultant with IBM’s Global Strategy and Change Practice.
Alexandra was instrumental in shaping the Canadian Institute for Research and Education in Human Systems (CIREHS) as a founding director and past Vice-President. The organization is committed to fostering values- based leadership and successful organizational transformation. Furthering her influence in the field, she served on the board of the Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP), which included leading a Hackathon for change management requirements for the Government of Canada.
Currently, Alexandra leads Integral Leadership Design, a consultancy and coaching practice that leverages her expertise in leadership development, change leadership and change management. Her approach to enhancing human potential has earned her a reputation as a valuable advisor and trusted resource. In this capacity, she also serves as an on-demand resource for industry giants like IBM, PwC, and EY.
As an academic, Alexandra contributes her knowledge to future generations of leaders. She has instructed students in Executive Coaching at the Ivey School of Business and supervised theses in organizational development, leadership, and change management. Additionally, Alexandra developed and delivered a “Developing Your Leadership Capacity in a Changing World” 45-hour college level course aimed at managers and executives.
Showcasing her influence as a thought leader, Alexandra is a respected contributor to Forbes, HR Forum, and Training Industry Magazines, and a member of the Forbes Coaches Council, an invitation-only organization for senior level executives in the coaching industry. Her commitment to leadership excellence has earned her numerous accolades, including the City of Ottawa’s Exceptional Commitment and Contribution Commendation, twice. Her devotion to promoting equity, diversity, and inclusiveness was acknowledged with a nomination for Canada’s Governor General’s Award in Gender Equality. She was also recognized as a top coach by Influence Digest Magazine, and CoachFoundation.com. She was featured in Distinctive Women Magazine and was nominated for Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women Award.
Alexandra remains a stalwart in her field, continually pushing boundaries to transform organizations and cultivate dynamic leaders, teams and organizations.
