Bio
I live in Illinois in a small city and was born and raised here. The Midwest has so much to offer in terms of personal growth, family and friends, and career opportunities. My husband and I met and fell in love in Chicago, married and settled downstate. We have 2 wonderful children, their significant others, and a new grand baby. My sister and her family (plus 2 cute doggies) and my father round out our close family picture and happy lifestyle. It’s a great life!
I love to write about how my life has changed from one of a crazy busy employed person focused more on work to an enthusiastic and hopeful woman who gets to do all the things she wants–well mostly! Some of the topics my blog will focus on are family and friends, cooking, photography, home decorating and gardening, and life practices that boost humor and build a positive and cheerful attitude.
