Bio
My name is Ken Hashizume. Some call me Hash for short. Born and raised in Scarborough. My adventures have taken me to Vancouver, Hamilton, Toronto, Oshawa, Owen Sound, Kirkland Lake, and Orillia. Lifelong Blue Jays and Maple Leafs fan, music aficionado, and cigar connoisseur.
I've been talking sports for over 30 years, 15 as a career. I tend to think differently compared to what you see and hear in the sports media. I don't follow, I blaze a trail. I'm passionate and insightful. You will get an honest assessment of the sports world from me when you go through my blog. I don't expect people to get what I say right away. But they will realize and understand it pretty soon.
I am a reporter for Sunshine 89 and the Bayshore Broadcasting News Centre. I host a sports show every Friday evening at 5:25 during Twin Lakes Today. I also do television work for Rogers TV and handled media relations at the Canadian Professional Golf Tour (now PGA TOUR Canada).
The opinions here are my own and do not reflect those of my employer. You can also follow me on Twitter @khash27.
