Bio
Jane Doherty (BVSc (Pretoria), M.Phil (Cantab), DHSM (Wits)) is a South African who joined the Centre for Health Policy at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa, in 1989. In 1996 she was made a senior researcher as well as Deputy Director of the Centre. In 2001 she became an independent researcher and part-time lecturer at the Wits School of Public Health.
