Currently serving as President of Henry Kotula while previously serving as a Partner in Hardesty LLC's and Tatum's National Healthcare Practices. Both were national professional services firms that providing on-demand financial management executives to companies ranging from emerging growth to large public entities through a variety of flexible offerings. Each providing on-demand CFOs, treasurers, controllers and other financial management with deep operational management expertise.
Henry is a seasoned healthcare executive with 35 year career serving in financial consulting, general management, strategic business planning, joint venture development, financial transactions, and industry analysis in the hospital and healthcare systems sector. He has guided organizations though business life cycle including growth, change, scale, turnarounds, downturns, start-ups, mergers and acquisitions, expansion and sometimes crises management situations. He has served in interim, transitional and turnaround financial leadership roles for twelve healthcare organizations. He has restructured financial systems, stabilized finances, and restored the trust of management, investors, bondholders, board members, and employees under very difficult financial circumstances.
He has conducted over 150 healthcare consulting engagements for a broad array of healthcare clients nationwide. Henry spent nine-years with two international public accounting firms specializing in healthcare strategic and financial planning. His key clients have included: Tenet Health (Santa Monica), Catholic Health Initiatives (Denver), Franciscan Health System (Tacoma), Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth Health System (Denver), Sutter Health, Palo Alto Medical Foundation (Silicon Valley), UCSF Medical Center (San Francisco), UCSF Stanford Healthcare (Silicon Valley), Temple University Health System (Philadelphia), Overlake Hospital (Seattle), Hoag Hospital (Newport Beach) and El Camino Hospital (Silicon Valley).
