Bio
Hidden Scholars is a group and a blog, facilitated for now by Patricia Appelbaum, Ph.D. I'm a historian of American religion specializing in mainline Protestantism and Quakerism from the point of view of culture and practice. As an independent scholar, I've taught in an adjunct capacity, have worked for a newspaper and a church, and have held various "day jobs."
