Bio

I am an American teenager who just happened to find herself on a plane to Israel, for nine months of "Holy Land Livin'". I've grown up home-schooled (as in, it's all I've ever known) and I like it that way. Homeschooling has given my siblings and me the opportunity to tailor our learning to the culture and country around us. We've lived in England, Jordan, America, and most recently Israel/Palestine, and each experience has given me a greater appreciation for the diversity of the world around us. Between the ages of eleven and sixteen I lived in a townhouse in the Washington DC suburbs, and while at one time that felt like home, I now deeply long to return to Israel/Palestine, my heart's home. I'm so glad I could go back overseas as a teenager! Living in the Middle East opened my eyes and my heart, and now I'm looking for any way possible to go home ... to Palestine. Poetry is another one of my outlets for writing (that and journaling) and you can find my selection of poems under the "Blogging with Poetry" page -- I try to post a new one each month. I hope you enjoy reading my writing as much as I enjoy writing it!
