Bio
Having started my life at 15 determined to become an artist my experience at 18 of art college shocked and disillusioned me. I went on to study Art History and began teaching for the Open University. Due to the limited hours I was able to work there I trained as a school teacher, where I met the man I married and had two beautiful daughters with, living in the midlands.
At 40 I suffered a life changing breakdown that led me to look at psychiatry and the field of mental health with a critical eye. My experiences of it were personally traumatising.
Some work with a hypnotist assisted me to a stage where I could begin to live again and to learn how to help others.
