Bio
We have developed software to exploit pre-operative 3D images of a patient’s aortic or mitral valve and simulate valve function and dynamics after various valve repair procedures.
This makes it possible, for the first time, to determine what dimensions in the valve need to be fixed and by how much, and what repair technique will give the best short and long-term post-operative valve function.
Each year, thousands of patients worldwide could have their quality of life significantly improved by our technology.
