Bio
I have a master’s degree from the New York University School of Social Work, and a master’s degree from The City College of New York in School Psychology. I am post-graduate trained in psychoanalytic psychotherapy from the Institute For The Study Of Psychotherapy in Manhattan.
In my five decade career I’ve worked for the New York City’s Administration For Children Services as a caseworker for protective services and at a day treatment program for seriously emotionally handicapped adolescent boys. I worked at the Epilepsy Foundation of Nassau County as a clinical social worker in their out-patient and day treatment programs. In a change of career pursuits I became a school psychologist, working on Long Island and the New York City Department of Education.
Always the educator of human nature, I’ve been a Field Instructor for the Adelphi University School of Social Work and Fordham University School of Social Work.
For over thirty years I’ve been in private practice in the New York area treating individuals, marital couples, and families.
