Mark Lennon, Principal, IRN – The Recycling Network
Mark Lennon is a founder and principal of the Institution Recycling Network, which manages reuse and recycling programs for more than 200 colleges and universities, hospitals, private firms, and other organizations in the Northeast and throughout the U.S. IRN handles more than 75 different commodities as diverse as computers, fluorescent lamps, paper, construction/demolition wastes, and surplus property. Before founding IRN ten years ago, Mark was head of recycling programs for the State of New Hampshire; prior to that he was a consultant to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and other public and private clients in solid and hazardous waste and energy issues. He graduated from Dartmouth College and has a Master’s degree in Ecosystems Research from the University of Wisconsin in Madison.
