Bio
Yes, I’m an 80's baby, old to others, and young to some, I would say I am in my mid-life breakthrough. I was born in kings college hospital in the UK; my mum said when I was born, I looked like an overcooked crinkled chicken as I was well overdue. But then obviously, a couple of days later, I blossomed into a beautiful butterfly, and I was named Venisha. However, throughout my childhood, teenage years, and adulthood, I’ve had and still experience many changes and challenges, just like every other human being of today. I have one brother and one sister that I love dearly, and two beautiful children under the age of 10years old one boy and one girl, they also keep me busy and entertained, being around my children boredom is an unknown thing. I love a variety of musical genres, cooking traditional Caribbean foods, reading inspiring truth books, and listen to a few motivational speakers such as Denzel Washington, Eric Thomas, and Steve Harvey.
I've worked in the finance sector for the last 12 years and have gained many skills. My children, family, and my ambitions are what keeps me raring to succeed each day. I set many short-term goals to deliver my holistic long-term goals, ultimately. In February 2017, I did something amazing that has helped me to grow something that I thank the almighty for (1 Thessalonians 5:18 KJV) as the Heavenly Father has allowed me to retake my education as a mature student at the University of Wales st Trinity David’s. In January 2020, I completed a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Leadership and Management and achieving a (2:1). I studied for three years, and throughout my three years of studies, I possessed a strong sense of determination to be successful. I was dedicated, consistent, and disciplined in addition to enhancing my professional and personal life. These new and enhanced abilities have allowed me to transform and contribute to the virtuous woman I desire to be. My past experiences, my present developments, and my future desires have been challenging, interesting and exciting.
I have learned that everyone has their paths and journeys in life with amazing capabilities and some that are yet to find. However, it can take a moment or a decade to discover yourself, leading to the point of self-actualization, furthermore, how to grasp and to drive your purpose into existence. In my opinion, life is precious; every experience, challenges, growth, and mistakes verifies and reshape your future and decisions. I have developed (interestuk) as a platform to focus and highlight exciting things and facts that are happening in our communities within the UK. In addition, to motivate, empower, inspire, and sheer talent that is unknown globally amongst us. Furthermore, to promote small to medium-size businesses, excellent services, a variety of products that adds value to you. My desire is to give recognition to our UK role models. Through this platform, I would like to meet local and worldwide entrepreneurs and develop a long-lasting relationship in addition to, add value to their businesses by acknowledging them and appreciating their innovations.
