Bio
My name is Matthew Gordon, and I love to read. Mainly non-fiction, although. so many people that I read have vivid imaginations that I might as well be reading one of my favorite books, like Interview with a Vampire, by Anne Rice.
I am a Professional Mentalist and Magician by trade, and by passion. I'm Originally from Southern California where I was lucky enough to have to opportunity to audition for and pass to become a Magician Member at the world-famous Magic Castle. In the years following, as I began to perform regularly for packed rooms, I slowly broke out of my shell of trying to just be an incredible magician and instead started giving audiences glimpses into what I was able to do with just my mind.
The more I performed demonstrations of mind-reading, mind control, mind manipulation, mild hypnosis, perfectly accurate predictions of the choices, actions and statements of strangers made during my performances that I had written down and handed to someone to hold before the show even started, the more frightened the audiences became! haha.
I am mostly joking about that. But now I am performing almost 100% mentalism effects and very little magic (even at the Magic Castle). I love what I do with all of my heart. I am blessed to be able to make a living while bringing true joy, bliss, and the feeling of childlike wonder most of us adults never get to feel anymore until some young punk mind-reader comes along and plucks our thoughts right out of our head making us question if someone put some acid in our Kool-Aid or if Matthew Gordon really reads minds...
Well, the answer is obvious... therefore I do not need to even say it.
