Bio
I had a thing for art since… don’t remember. During my school days, I would hardly listen to teachers taking classes and would keep scribbling some doodles. As i grew the level of education was not getting any easier. I had to focus on exams, then college, from there on moved on to a job.
Long story short, i used to take photographs using my camera phone and soon realized the difference between my shots and the normal ones which others around me click. Slowly my fascination with it grew and i moved on to investing in a camera and shooting on my own.
I love street photography. It’s awesome. Where ever i go, i take my camera. It’s always with me in my back pack when i’m riding. I stop my bike, take my camera, and start walking. I love meeting people that i come across and the excitement that they show. Not all oblige when a random stranger pop up with a camera and asks for a picture. However, You will be surprised to see the number of people who interact well. Some ask me to share the prints. It’s difficult to full fill that request to all who ask, but i do take sometime out to revisit the locations and give them the prints as and when possible. The smiles that i get from them when i share the print is so rewarding. Trust me, it is.
I’m a sucker for black and white photos, but it doesn’t work for all shots. And i love
doing portraits. I’m not a pro or something. But i have seen some from other photographers. If done correctly, portraits almost speak. I’m still learning it and will continue to do so.
I love manipulating pictures and converting them to art work. I do this with my own images and also some stock images. Thanks to creative common artists across the web who let other artists like me to use their stock photographs and make art. There’s not limit to one’s creativity and imagination with digital art. I also use a lot of softwares and plugins on my street shots as well. I feel like a kid in art class when i’m doing digital art. I love spending time in front of my pc, working long hours, with a cup of coffee, or a snack bowl to munch on and my lovely sennheiser headphones playing music. Good times.
I'm a fan HDR photography but honestly i suck at it. Still working my way, learning from experience and mistakes to perfect it.
People find me to be an odd guy, lost in my own world of thoughts and voices in my head. I think by now i must have put my parents to doubt me as their own offspring. Everyone else in my family is either a doctor or engineer or working for some multinational corporation in US. I just do what i love to do. Just for the love part in it.
