Bio
Being a vegetarian all my life its has become part of my identity and way of looking at the world.
With food we can present our history, culture, what we are and what we like.
I grew up on beans, lentils, pasta and soya sausages. At school all the other kids often said they felt sorry for me being a vegetarian and that my food sometimes looked like dog poop. Fortunately, today more veggie products has entered the market and an increased lust for traveling and experiencing new cultures Sweden's food culture has expand to cuisines such as the Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine-which are more vegetarian friendly.
A plant based and organic diet that are healthy and nutritious is more important than ever due to the rapidly fast growing obesity in the Western world not to mention its much lesser effect on the environment.
Though a vegetarian diet is a good way to be healthy and loose wight it still has to be tasty. Excluding meat doesn't have to be a lost. A meatless innovative gourmet dish can taste heavily make you forget about that steak a Friday night. Vegetarian gourmet cooking is often an explosion of flavors and a combination of complex ingredients and spices. Its also very simple to make simple vegetarian fast food with all the oily, fried and carbons rich components. Though these alternative doesn't come near the high protein levels or the fullness in your stomach that can get you the feeling of having eating a whole house.
