Bio
My wife Amber, son Hezekiah and I are part of a Christian missions organization called YWAM (Youth With A Mission) which focuses on training people up to go out into the world and preach the gospel of Jesus. We desire to love and help those in need, pray for the sick, and be a light to the world, making God known.
Our hearts are that the lost will believe in Jesus and be saved and that the hurting would be healed.
We live in a rural area of southern Taiwan and we have a passion for hospitality, teaching the Bible, and helping families! God gave us a vision to start a parent/child play centre where kids and parents can come to play together and we can minister to them as they have need.
Another part of that vision is that we have frequent discovery Bible studies at our house where we invite the local community in for a meal together, then talk with one another about the Bible, our needs, thankfulness and pray for one another while seeking to help each other practically as well and it is open to both Christians and this who don’t know Jesus yet.
Since I also do videography, we want to make videos of the aboriginal tribes near us to show their culture and then hopefully grow a relationship with them and maybe see them come to know Jesus through it.
Because of Covid restricting our progress in these areas recently, we have been trying to help people in other ways. I am an artist and so I use that art to sell for the purpose of helping small families and communities in need. I also have begun a YouTube inductive Bible study series where I am teaching/studying through the entire Bible to be able to reach people who we currently cannot meet with.
Our family is committed to seeing change happen in the lives of the Taiwanese and we have no intention of leaving unless God makes it very clear to do so.
