Bio
After 20+ years in the Medical Billing/AR arena, I decided to step out on my faith and skills to become an Independent Remote Credentialing Specialist. Prior to leaving my 9 to 5 job in corporate America, I was working full-time as a Credentialing Coordinator. During this time I also worked for myself remotely, part-time as a Credentialing Specialist. Working remote gave me the opportunity to take on clients in several locations. My initial part-time clients were located in Tennessee , Mexico and New York. The specialties ranged from Physical Therapy, OBGYN, Internal Medicine, Cosmetic Surgery & family practice. My part-time credentialing work also is what led me to land employment in corporate America with some well established groups such as Horizon Eye Care and Nephrology Associates in Charlotte, NC. I am eternally grateful for the opportunity given. Because of my diverse and knowledgeable background I was able to assist with training and revamping of procedures/protocols. I assisted in consultation with management in creating manuals as well as keeping them abreast of critical changes. There were times I assist and consulted on the Medical Billing spectrum. I must admit, I still love handling old A/R!
June, 2018 I made the decision to go full time for myself. Since my decision, I had the pleasure of networking and contracting with some awesome people. Networking does not only consist of landing a client. It opens up the door to learning, growing and expanded your circles. May my journey inspire you to walk in your faith!
