Bio
Every major decision I've made in my life has been to enable myself to write for a living.
First there was the writing of bad, melodramatic short stories in high school, followed the writing of not so bad short stories in the Creative Writing program at York University, Toronto, from which I eventually graduated with an Honours B.A. Then came the requisite "down-and-out-in-my-mid-to-late-twenties" period which helped me to generate ideas, and finally, the "it's-now-or-never" phase that actually enabled me to finish something.
The result is my first novel, Typhoon Season, which I spent over three years in Taiwan researching and writing, and which is now available for sale on the Kindle store. After a year in Dubai, my second novel is taking shape and will hopefully appear soon.
