Bio
I was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. I graduated in 1998 with a BFA in Photography. I also studied sculpture, art history, philosophy and dabbled in anthropology, herpetology, entomology, horticulture, the art of bonsai and animal husbandry. I've been growing plants and caring for animals my entire life. I find that they all soothe me like nothing else. In my 40 years on this green earth, I've dabbled in all of it. I have gobs of information, tips and inspiration. Use me!
After college I got myself a fancy job at a commercial photography studio. Which I hated almost immediately. I tried wedding photography for about 8 years too. Hated that even more. I worked in a cubical once. Only once. Never again!
Then I packed up and moved to Southern California to, at the very least, get away from the harsh winters. You see, I wanted to grow things so I went somewhere where there was plenty of sunshine and no frost.
So I did, and I am. However, I'm still a slave to work I'm quickly losing passion for. I have two lives going over here; the career and my passion. I'm sick of that so I'm trying to make the two lives the same. Care to help? Then visit often and comment often. Ask questions and come hungry for inspiration!
