Bio
WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO
A native of Colorado, I grew up in in the mountains outside of Denver before moving to the western suburbs where I graduated from Wheat Ridge High School. I attended the University of Colorado in Boulder majoring in Sociology. For the past several years I have specialized in Reverse Mortgages (Purchase, Traditional and LOC).
For many decades, my core career is and has been residential lending, with a specialization in difficult transactions such as first time buyer, purchase or refinance while in Chapter 13 bankruptcy and purchase mortgages after short sale, bankruptcy and/or foreclosure. In addition, I help educate clients on how and, perhaps more importantly, how not to rebuild their credit following a severe negative credit event such as short sale, foreclosure and/or bankruptcy.
I am also an expert witness on residential mortgages including business practices, laws, rules and regulations.
Most folks know me as Jim Spray.
