JAN TURNER
Relocating from California, I trailed after my son to Ohio when his bride couldn’t take our earthquakes. Being a lover of family, I hauled my mother and cat to Columbus right after they settled in. Though I sorely missed my friends on the coast, a good life has been enjoyed over the last 17 years.
Have dabbled in creative endeavors most of my life with painting and writing my two main thrusts with sewing, knitting, my roses and health interests usurping much attention as well. My son Jeff and two beautiful, talented grand- daughters remain the light of my life.
Perhaps some of my favorite things are my kitchen (and all the stuff in it) and of course – my computer - which leads to my great pleasure taken with being a blogger. In my 4th year now, it is evident that this is one of the best things I could have done because it answers several needs at the same time. . .an outlet for writing; strong communicative urges, the love of health - - what it is and how to get it and keep it and also, the ability to share with others what I find valuable. In all this, I am deeply blessed.
Just one more thing, my little companion is a ten pound Llasa Apso mix called Heidi. She is very intuitive and has a great sense of humor.
