Bio
Experience:
I have a Bachelor's Administrative Degree in Marketing from Pace University in 2000; and 10 years of business experience with an additional 6 years in education and development.
I recently run a start up called HMDs&W Corp, specializing in virtual reality hardware.
Personal Trajectory:
"Anyone who stops learning is old, whether twenty or eighty. Anyone who keeps learning stays young. The greatest thing you can do is keep your mind young."—Mark Twain.
The number one trait I picked up from college was how to constantly educate oneself. To me, the most successful people are constantly learning and discovering. Learning keeps your ax sharp. I grow every day and look forward to enriching the lives of others.
Virtues:
Humor gave me the ability to express what was amusing, incongruous or absurd during the first half of my life. I look back at fond memories of smiles, laughter and good times as I lived my day to day life. With gratitude I am able to see the silver lining in all situations.
In my recent years, I noticed Humility is my fortitude. I can always rest on it to trust my mistakes are lessons learned and the gift of life is something that I am awe-aspired by.
My next challenge is Initiative, meaning; dare to be original or use creativity to bring something new into this world. These are the things that motivate me every morning. Being a family man may have something to do with it as well.
Vices:
Besides my love/hate relationship with shopping, I am my worst critic. Like many other people when I am doing something wrong, I trick my mind into believing 'it’s okay.' For example, not going to the gym as often as I should or eating healthier or making time for my friends and family.
Goal postponement and sleep are two things I can do when I am long gone, but to find a way to do it now? That’s my vice right there.
Favorite Project:
It’s interesting to work with digital media companies and the written word. I have penned an e-book novel and self-published a screenplay both online. I want to do more children short stories and young professional motivational writing.
Special Interests:
Family and friends, sports, coaching sports, chess, reading and writing, molding and motivating young minds, tutoring, arts and music, audio and video, blogging, movies, charity functions, astronomy and traveling the world to see different cultures.
