I am a civil and human rights advocate and have been all my adult life. I am a mother and grandmother, nature lover, author and wager of peace.

I am an author and my first book will be ready from the publishers in July. It is called "Smoky Mountain Secrets, Folk Remedies for the Nature Lover". It details 46 native Smoky Mountain medicinal herbs, how to locate, cultivate, harvest, prepare, utilize and preserve these plants and their history.
