Bio
I am a recently retired ordained minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Not so long ago, I served as a Transitional Minister (Intentional Interim) in UCC congregations in the Boston area and completed a PhD in Practical Theology from Boston University School of Theology with a concentration in congregational studies. My dissertation research was among transforming congregations that had been in severe decline, but have since come to experience the joy of being faithful witnesses to the reign of God happening among them and in their wider communities. I developed a process for this of dancing to the lead of God that promises to transform other willing congregations.
It is my honor to be married to Steve Vandergrift, to be mom to Nathan, mother-in-law to Alena, "Granny" to Emma and Paige, and a grand-dog mom to Chloe and Lucy.
