Bio
Freelance GhostWriter. A native of Chicago, IL, Mr. Oakes moved to Louisiana as a young child where he developed a strong independent approach to politics. His middle-of-the road political views allowed him to seek answers to the most pressing questions in the justice field without being unduly influenced by the partisanship. He believes that the root cause of many of the problems facing criminal justice and the laws impacting crime and punishement in the United State and the world are largely the result of partisan bickering.
His mission is to provide balance and a fair assessment of the key issues hindering the cause of justice globally. With students and active professionals in mind, the goal of Criminal Justice Law Internationals is to provide the tools needed for all in the field to better meet the cause of justice.
To this end, he is constantly seeking to find better ways to add valuable information for readers including reference materials, recommendations, resources, and essays.
In keeping with the teachings of John Stuart Mill, Mr. Oakes believes that only by vigorous, open debate of issues can problems in the system be solved.
To this end, he encourages readers to engage with comments and questions, especially sharing articles of interest with their friends and social networks.
