Bio
I was diagnosed with a severe case of PTSD and OCD. After a tragic accident in November 2014, I vowed to live my life differently. Desperately trying to get sober, I soon realized I had been self medicating for a long time. My past has been a horrible battle within myself. I have made a MILLION mistakes, but it truly feels amazing to finally have some answers. Everyday is a new learning experience for me and it sincerely feels as if I am living my life for the first time EVER! Take a ride with me as I journal through my new journey of self exploration. Writing for me is therapy and I'll be honest, I have a LOT to say. I have been overwhelmed with a need to be heard, I want to inspire others to be their true authentic selves and bring awareness to mental disorders and how they truly effect people. I am the Owner of Above N Beyond, I am a free lance Writer/Blogger, I am a registered Artist with the Choctaw Nation (yes, I am Choctaw) and Designer. I'm a long time bargain hunting fashionista, with a stylish eye. I LOVE Woodworking, Mosaics and anything/everything Furniture Restoration and Arts/Crafts. My passion is music, my outlet is Disc Golf and I'm a ten year member with the PDGA. I reside in Austin, TX and I'm a Mother of 3. I'm a no nonsense, go getter, full of life, spunk and fire. I live my life with positive intent and I'm just trying to be a better person, than I was yesterday.
