Bio
Hello, my name is Julia Swan, I am 28 years old, and if you are a cocaine user in the Seattle city limits, you probably know me as Poppa Bear. If I said I were writing my story primarily for the money, then that would be giving myself too much credit. Practical capitalists are far more successful than sentimentalists, but knowing this, I continue to sacrifice my own agenda for the sake of others, the hungry and homeless, the lovesick teenagers, single mothers, they annihilate my efficient rigidity and replace it with pudding, useless but for being delicious.
No, the real motivation behind my decision to tell my story is a soppy one. I’ve paid my time and weaseled my way back into the prospects of a normal life. Now, I want to apologize to those I’ve wronged, appreciate all the help I received, and offer some advice to those following in my footsteps, so that they may not make the same mistakes. I know this piece of literature will not take back or make up for what I’ve done; nothing will, but it’s a start, a creative outlet through which I can better understand my life and the radically strange changes it has experienced this past half decade.
I invite you, whoever you may be, perhaps Henry, who hopefully is on his yacht somewhere with bitches in bikinis thinking of me only seldom when his bill receipts come; or maybe O. living out his retirement in one of his foreign flats and becoming perhaps just a little less disappointed in his prodigy apprentice; or maybe some random kid intrigued by the narcotic references and big tits on the cover, to travel with me down my road of self-indulgence and the quest for improvement. I hope you accept my invitation, but understand if this will be too complex, difficult, or confusing for you to continue.
