Bio
Jonathan Feist is the publisher and editor in chief of Orchard Fire Publishing, an independent press that supports and empowers authors to publish unique books. Prior to launching Orchard Fire, he served as the long-time editor in chief of Berklee Press, the book publishing activity of Berklee College of Music, where he helped bring hundreds of commercial music books, videos, and online courses to a worldwide market since 1998. He has authored five books and two online courses about music, and released two albums of original songs, and he teaches Project Management for Musicians at Berklee's online school. Jonathan is also founder and leader of the Gloucester Songwriters Circle. He holds a bachelor's and master's degree in composition from New England Conservatory of Music.
