Brave Hearts In Christ is an ally of, and patterned after, Ransomed Heart Ministry (John & Stasi Eldredge, Colorado Springs, CO). It is a ministry supporting the journey into recovering the masculine and feminine souls. Men, come and find out that you do, indeed, have what it takes to live in true freedom. And in living free, your life has the authority to bring the Kingdom of God to earth. True freedom enables us to experience life in the larger story rather than the small stories into which we have settled. Experience the heart of God as He intended. Let Him love you; let yourself be convinced of His love. It will change everything.
And women, we invite you to experience your femininity as a reflection of the heart of God who also made you in His image. He calls you beautiful, just as you are. And He welcomes you into deep intimacy with the Lover of your soul. Only there can you find the freedom to be yourself. Only there will you find the truth of your value. You are beautiful, powerful in His kingdom, and made for a life of rich adventure and meaning.
Brave Hearts was founded by Jim and Lenne' Tate.
Jim is a man of many talents. A second generation pastor, Jim's heart is especially turned toward the hurting, hopeless and helpless. He has a passion for the Word and a deep understanding of the spiritual calling to be a husband. Jim has found a freedom to walk as a true son in Father's house and has inherited a passion to bring other men into the fullness of the masculine heart as ordained by God. Jim is also a builder, specializing in renovations and restoration.
Lenne' holds a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of South Carolina. She spent 18 years as a practicing therapist and 10 as a professor of psychology. In 2001, she left those careers to pursue the deeper desires of her heart: writing, ministry, and prophetic teaching about the heart of God and the truth of man's identity and destiny. Lenne' first book, The Fatherhood of God and the Sonship of Man was released in 2004. It was followed by Prisoners of Hope (2011) and her latest offering, One True Thing (2013).
