Bio
Joe Zimmerman is one of the slowest young rising stars in comedy today. Critics have called Joe's rise to fame both "undetectable," and "sloth-like." Joe is slow to point out that sloths move slowly to preserve energy, because their diets consist primarily of tree bark. Joe also wakes up slowly (often hitting the snooze button), brushes his teeth slowly (making sure to floss), and eats food slowly (for proper digestion, and because he tries to savor each bite). While other comics leave Joe in the dust of their rocket ships to success, Joe plods along like the tortoise in that wonderful fairy tail, where against all odds, the tortoise gets the beautiful woman. Joe is slow to point out that comparisons to both sloths and turtles in the same bio are pushing the limitations of slow animal comparisons. "What's left," he asks, "a snail?" Yes Joe, a snail would have also painted the picture.
