Howdy! My name is John Eaves, I am a Christian & a family man, we follow the Bible daily, For work I am a concept artist for the motion picture and television industry!!! I am going on my 25th year in Hollywood primarily working on the Star trek films and shows, I have worked with some incredibly talented folks and even got to work with many of my favorites such as John Carpenter, Joe Dante Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Jerry Goldsmith, Tom Clancy, and so many others!!! I am originally from Phoenix Arizona. I was born in the early 60's and grew up with Wallace and Ladmo and BB guns, and a million acre backyard. Life as a child and young adult was great. I had a Jeep, a fun job, tons of friends, and no worries. Then in 1985 I moved to California to pursue the dream of working in Hollywood. I was so very blessed to have been hired by Apogee visual effects on my first day in town. Since then I have had the wonderful opportunity to work with some very talented people. Everyday is a new adventure and the work is never the same. In 1990 I got married and in 97 divorced, didn't date enough in the early days so naivety hooked me up with the wrong girl the first time around. Ooooh the dark days!!! during the marriage we adopted twin girls Olivia and Alicia who are two of the brightest stars in my own little night sky. In 1998 I took my girls to Sunday school at our local church and fell in love with their teacher. Tara and I married in 1999 and are coming up on our tenth anniversary next year. She was married before and also had a daughter named Carlene the same age as my girls. She also had custody of a teenage girl named Amanda whom we adopted a few years later. We are very happy and together we have 5 daughters all together. Amanda the oldest is married and has two children of her own, next comes Olivia, Alicia, and Carlene, three 15 year old cowgirls who compete in rodeos, gymkhanas, pageants and at the fair with all of their animals and crafts, and then there is our 6 year old Alyna who is a very unique little girl. She makes friends with everyone she meets and can whip up a song or dance to any subject you throw at her.... if i had hair she would be the one to turn it grey!!!! HAAAA! My best friends are Tara my wife, my Mom and Dad, Nelson Broskey, Steve Boltz, Brian Sikon, Rod Andrewson, Leslie Mintz, Deanne Malmgren, Mike Possart, and to many more to list. My passions are for my family and if I ever get free time I love to be busy with my hands, Drawing, sculpting, building things, driving the tractor etc, I love all kinds of music and so wish that I had the talent to play an instrument like those I hold in high asteem.
