Hey Internet,
My name is John McGuire and I’m artist / illustrator returning to college to get my art education certification. I’m an M.I.A.D Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design graduate and have had a successful run as a freelance illustrator and artist. I lived in San Diego for 18 working as an art director for a major skateboard company. I recently returned to my hometown of Milwaukee where I currently live in an old funeral home with my girlfriend and or amazing 3 cats; Pizza, Nova and Uncle Baby Billy. I love pizza, skateboarding, RoboCop and l.a.r.p’ing (live action role play) as Kramer from Seinfeld. I’m super excited to get my Art Ed certification and teach high school and spread the amazing exciting message of creativity and hope to a new generation of misfits, weirdos and geniuses. Let’s “Make Teaching Art Great Again”.
