Bio
Finally left school at 63 years of age, having been in education - receiving, then giving back, and always learning - since I was five. These are thoughts from the accumulated gap years that it never occurred to me to take, but which I am now indefinitely enjoying. (Indefinitely is the wrong word, since the years are decidedly finite, but for as long as tomorrow is indeed another day.)
This opportunity-cum-invitation to blog is a gift from a kind and thoughtful student, whom I would hate to disappoint. So after a notably slow start - way beyond "hesitant" - here we go. I hope to interest and entertain; there's not much point if I don't.
